Duplicate listing

Two pages for the same place that should be merged.

Closed location

A restaurant that has shut down or paused service.

Edge Cases

A few tricky updates.

These come up enough that it's worth being explicit.

Restaurant moved

Submit "Address" update and include both the old and new address. We update the page, keep the old URL redirecting, and stamp it as relocated.

Restaurant rebranded

Submit a fresh "Add Your Menu" instead — it's a different page. We can manually unlink the old listing if needed.

Photo or copyright issue

Use the "Other" update type and explain. We err toward removing disputed media until the rights are clear.

Permanent closure

Pick "Closed location". Include any source — a closure notice, a final social post, a news article. We mark the page closed within 24h of confirmation.

Temporary closure

Pick "Opening hours" and tell us the dates. We display a temporary banner without removing the page.

Faster path: claim the listing. Owners can update their own page in real time once verified.
